Mooh Hood
Mooh co-led the Women's Spiritual Art Journey in Bali, March 2015.
Mooh has extensive knowledge and experience with Balinese culture after 38 years working directly with the artisans of Bali. For the past 15 years she has naturally evolved her talents into becoming a group leader and taking groups on incredible spiritually enriched journeys throughout Bali. She has embraced many traditions on her journeys to discover her spiritual path, and is excited to share them with you. For more see her website.
She created an unusual and successful boutique, BALI BALI, in Vancouver BC, that reflected the treasures she found on her journeys. Now she designs silver and gemstones, with the skilled artisans of Bali, to create an unusual and a unique line of meaningful jewelry.
In a parallel world in Canada Mooh co-created the Goddess Camp with a wonderful circle of women to heal and empower each other and to discover the Divine Feminine. Mooh has also volunteered, been a board member and chair for SEVA Canada for 15 years. Seva is an international NGO that works to restore eyesight and prevent blindness in Southeast Asia, Tibet, India and Africa. Mooh’s deeper connection with SEVA – a Sanskrit word that means “service” – is a shared belief in compassionate action. Mooh attended the Fine Arts program at Concordia University in Montreal as well as BC School of Art Therapy in Victoria.
