Tour Description
In a time of great transformation for humanity and Mother Earth, the Maya Masters of Light call us to find our way through chaos and into the Light. Join Maya Master Spiritual Teacher Miguel Angel Vergara on a healing journey through the Yucatán, working with the five elements and the sacred wisdom of Ix’cheel, Maya Mother of Medicine, as we prepare to honour Kukuulkaan at Chichen Itza.
Beginning in the historic city of Mérida, we journey into the sacred world of the ancient Maya, where magnificent temples, cosmic wisdom, and the healing forces of nature reveal a profound understanding of the universe. Our first ceremony takes us into an ancient sacred cave, where Miguel Angel joins a local Maya shaman in honouring Water and its power to heal the emotional body. The nurturing presence of Ix’cheel guides this opening experience, while the beautiful work of a Maya artist in Muna reveals another expression of the Sacred Feminine and the enduring wisdom of the ancient priestesses.
As we travel deeper into the Yucatán, the mysteries of Maya sacred architecture begin to unfold. The magnificent temples of Uxmal, known in Miguel Angel’s teachings as the Maya Cosmic Feminine University, invite us to discover the spiritual knowledge once shared among its priestesses. Here we honour IK, the sacred Breath of Life, connecting with the eternal movement of Spirit through the Element Air. The journey carries us onward through Labnah’s beautiful Maya arch, a powerful symbol of Fire and the transformation that begins within the Heart. At Ek Balam, extraordinary winged figures evoke the mysteries of the spiritual realm, where Ether offers its gifts of balance and harmony.
These sacred encounters form part of a deeper journey toward Chichen Itza, where the ancient wisdom of the Maya Masters of Light finds one of its most extraordinary expressions. During the Fall Equinox, sunlight and shadow create the remarkable appearance of Kukuulkaan, the Serpent of Light, descending the great pyramid to bless Mother Earth. Honouring the Heart of the Sky and the Heart of the Earth, we enter the profound symbolism of this sacred event through Miguel Angel’s intimate knowledge of Kukuulkaan and his spiritual connection to this magnificent temple. In the teachings of the Maya Masters of Light, the Serpent's descent awakens spiritual consciousness, bringing the precious gifts of Love, Light, Imagination, Balance, Abundance, and Harmony.
From this powerful encounter with the Heart of the Sky, our journey turns toward the Heart of the Earth. Among the ancient temples and towering pillars of Aké, whose mysteries Miguel Angel connects to the lost wisdom of Atlantis, we honour Earth as the source of strength and grounding. Our closing ceremony brings together the healing energies of the five elements, inviting us to carry their wisdom into our lives.
Through the sacred teachings of the Maya Masters of Light, we are invited to awaken our own capacity for healing and inner transformation, carrying greater Love, Light, and Harmony into our lives and sharing these gifts with humanity and Mother Earth.

Our first full day together takes us into an ancient sacred cave, where the Maya once gathered for ceremony. Here, Miguel Angel and a local Maya shaman will guide our opening ceremony, honouring Water and the nurturing presence of Ix’cheel, Maya Mother of Medicine.
The Maya Teachers of Light worked with Water from wells, rivers, and the sea to cleanse and heal the emotional body. Through ceremony, we explore Water’s connection with the solar plexus and its gifts of healing, allowing the wisdom of the Sacred Feminine to guide this first step in our work with the elements.
Following our ceremony, we continue to Muna for lunch and a visit with a Maya artist whose work embodies the energy of the sacred priestess. Through this creative expression, we encounter another way the wisdom of the Sacred Feminine lives on, linking the ancient teachings with the present.
We return to Mérida to spend the evening at your leisure.

Today we journey to Uxmal, where magnificent temples and intricate stonework reveal the spiritual vision of the ancient Maya. Known in Miguel Angel’s teachings as the Maya Cosmic Feminine University, this sacred centre invites us to explore the wisdom once shared among its priestesses. As we walk among the temples, Miguel Angel will share their spiritual significance, deepening our understanding of the Sacred Feminine and its place in the Maya world.
Here, our healing ceremony honours Air, known as IK, the sacred Breath of Life. In the teachings of the Maya Masters of Light, Air is the eternal movement of Spirit, present in the wind and in every breath we take. Connected with the lungs, this element brings our attention to the simple yet profound act of breathing Spirit in and out. We are invited to become more attentive to this living connection, finding moments of stillness within its constant movement.
Following our visit, we return to Mérida.

Today we journey to Labnah, where a beautifully carved Maya arch stands among the temples of this ancient city. Here, our work with the elements turns to Fire and the transformation that begins within the Heart. As we pass through the arch, we are invited to reflect on the thresholds in our own lives and the changes we are ready to embrace.
Miguel Angel will lead our healing ceremony honouring Fire, the agent of change and spiritual transformation. In the teachings of the Maya Masters of Light, this sacred energy works from the Heart, helping us understand change as part of our spiritual growth. Through ceremony, we explore what it means to welcome this transforming force, approaching the work within ourselves with openness and courage. Labnah’s ancient arch offers a meaningful setting for this encounter, giving form to the passage from one stage of our journey to the next.
We make our way back to Mérida for the evening.

After breakfast, we leave Mérida for the sacred centre of Ek Balam. Its extraordinary winged figures offer a glimpse into the spiritual vision of the ancient Maya, while intricate carvings give form to the mysteries of the spiritual realm. Miguel Angel will share the significance of these remarkable figures and their place in the teachings of the Maya Masters of Light.
Our healing ceremony is dedicated to Ether, the subtle element connected with the brain and the harmony of our being. Under Miguel Angel’s guidance, we work with Ether’s balancing energy, reflecting on what it means to find harmony within ourselves. This encounter deepens our work with the elements as we prepare to honour Kukuulkaan, the Serpent of Light, at Chichen Itza.
From Ek Balam, our path continues to Valladolid, where we settle in for the night ahead of tomorrow’s visit to Chichen Itza.

Today, we travel from Valladolid to Chichen Itza for the sacred encounter at the heart of our journey. The ceremonies and teachings of the past days have prepared us to stand before the great pyramid of Kukuulkaan, honouring the Heart of the Sky and the Heart of the Earth. Here, our exploration of Maya wisdom finds a powerful expression in the descent of the Serpent of Light.
During the Fall Equinox period, sunlight and shadow create the remarkable appearance of a serpent descending the pyramid’s staircase. We hope to witness Kukuulkaan take shape before us, symbolically bringing the Light of the heavens to Mother Earth. In the teachings of the Maya Masters of Light, this sacred descent awakens spiritual consciousness, offering the gifts of Love, Light, Imagination, Balance, Abundance, and Harmony.
To share this moment with Miguel Angel brings a special depth to our experience. His spiritual connection with Kukuulkaan and intimate knowledge of Chichen Itza guide us into the meaning of this sacred event: the Serpent’s blessing of unconditional Love for Mother Earth. Before this extraordinary temple, we are invited to open our hearts to that Love and reflect on our own capacity to bring it into the world. The teachings we have explored together become a personal invitation to live with greater awareness and compassion, extending the gifts of this journey into the lives of others.
Afterwards, we return to Mérida to enjoy dinner together and share our reflections on the profound experiences and blessings of this extraordinary day.

This morning, we leave Mérida for Aké, where our attention turns from the Heart of the Sky to the Heart of the Earth. Among its ancient temples and towering pillars, we gather for our closing healing ceremony, honouring Earth as a source of strength and grounding. Miguel Angel will share the connections he draws between this sacred site and the lost wisdom of Atlantis, inviting us to explore mysteries that reach back to the beginning.
In the teachings of the Maya Masters of Light, Earth is connected with our bones and muscles, the strength that supports us as we meet the challenges of life. Our ceremony brings together our work with Water, Air, Fire, Ether, and Earth, allowing us to reflect on the wisdom each element has offered. We are invited to consider how these teachings can take root in our daily lives, supporting the healing and transformation that continue beyond our time together.
From Aké, we continue to Izamal for our farewell lunch. Here, we celebrate the experiences we have shared and the connections formed along the way, giving thanks for Miguel Angel’s guidance and the sacred lands that have welcomed us.
Later, we return to Mérida for our final night together.
