Tour Description
Our Ancestors left their homelands and scattered out across the world, leaving behind sacred relationships with the ancient lands and their Otherworlds. Most of the time, they did this to escape hardship with hopes of creating a prosperous life for their descendants. This was their gift to us!
Join Wisdom Keepers Angela and Jhaimy on this once-in-a-lifetime homecoming pilgrimage to Heal the Ancestral Heart, as our gift to the Ancestors!
Our 11-day sacred journey takes place in Ireland, where holy wells and lakes, rugged coastlines, rolling green hills, cairns, faerie mounds, and standing stones are living and breathing the stories and spirit of the Ancestors. Starting in the bright and bustling city of Dublin, we travel in a spiral around the sacred landscape beginning along the rugged and remote Bheara Peninsular in the southwest, up to the magical west coast of County Clare, and over to the sacred valley of Brú Na Bóinne. During our time together, you will have a unique opportunity to listen deeply while stepping into the rich and potent liminal energies of the land.
Each day, we will renew our ancestral hearts through the complimentary wisdom teachings and techniques for personal healing and transformation with Angela (Bean Feasa/Wisewoman) and Jhaimy (Traditional Curandero) while immersing with sacred sites. To balance and harmonize the depth of our days together, we will enjoy evenings of the craic (the Irish art of atmosphere and reveling fun) with traditional music and delicious food at Irish pubs. Our accommodations on our journey include friendly and comfortable Irish B&Bs, 4-star hotels and guest houses. In our Tuatha (tribe or allyu) and on our travels, we will reawaken and restore the luminous threads of our Ancestors, healing generational energies, and re-membering the lost wisdom of our foremothers and forefathers.

Our bus will pick you up in the morning from a designated Dublin hotel or similar to start our journey together. As we are planning an early start on Day 1, we suggest arriving in Dublin on June 19th or before to feel fully refreshed for the journey. Please contact us for hotel recommendations in Dublin.
Today we head southeast to County Cork and the Kindred Spirits sculpture commemorating the generosity of the Choctaw Indians in 1847, who gifted the Irish people during the great famine. Our visit will include a Despacho ceremony to set our intentions and celebrate our kinship from near and far.
From here we travel on to the remote Bheara Peninsular and the quaint village of Allihies. This will be our home for 3 nights as we stay with our friends, the O’Sullivan’s, in a cozy B & B, dining at local pubs.
(Overnight in Allihies at the Allihies Seaview Bed & Breakfast or similar)
Today we take a day trip from Allihies and hike to the spectacular and magical waterfalls and standing stones of Cashelkeelty. With a breathtaking view that looks across to the Paps of Anu (Breasts of the Mother) we will enjoy a Summer Solstice ceremony with the luminous An Sí, and Áine, Queen of the Fae and Seed of the Sun. The evening will offer free time to relax and a chance to explore the village of Allihies, and the local and beautiful Ballydonegan Beach.
(Overnight in Allihies at the Allihies Seaview Bed & Breakfast or similar)
Our main destination today is the Hag of Bheara Stone, which rests on a ridge overlooking Balycrovane Harbour. Here you are introduced to the old Irish Turas, or devotional pilgrim’s prayer as we weave the power of this land, and celebrate the ancient wisdom of An Cailleach, who is known as the oldest and most celebrated of all Otherworld women in Ireland. An Cailleach is famous for her power, and supports us in returning to being in sacred relationship with Nature.

Today we travel from Allihies through the rolling green hills and lush landscapes of County Kerry. En route we visit traditional weavers and enjoy Irish textiles, while shopping at the local stores that carry traditional Irish linens and gifts. After lunch, we travel by ferry up the west coast to County Clare arriving in the beautiful coastal village of Doolin, the musical heart of the country! This will be our home for the next three nights, as we visit the local sites during the day, and enjoy the craic and traditional Irish music at the village’s well-known pubs in the evenings.
(Overnight in Doolin at the Aran View Country House or similar)
The breathtaking and majestic Cliffs of Moher overlook the Atlantic Ocean and are one of the most popular sites in the country. Sitting on the cliffs and looking west provides an opportunity to experience the liminality of the Otherworld, and the epic Imramma (wonder voyage) of the Ancestors.
(Overnight in Doolin at the Aran View Country House or similar)
Today we enter into the heart of compassion at the sacred Well of Brigid, Ireland’s Holy Mother. A unique and powerful shrine blending the old and new religions, today you will have an opportunity to offer clooties and enter the grotto of Brigid’s Well for an experience of deep contemplation and sweet, compassionate healing.
(Overnight in Doolin at the Aran View Country House or similar)
We begin our day travelling east and clockwise on the spiral to stay the next four nights, in Westmeath and Meath. On our way, we visit the rugged beauty of the Burren, home to the iconic megalithic portal tomb of Poulnabrone Dolmen, known as the “Hole Of Sorrows”, which is over 5000 years old.
We then make our way to Westmeath and the Hill of Uisneach, the mythological and sacred centre of Ireland. Uisneach has a rich and powerful history linked to the renewal traditions of the May Fire Festivals.
Ail na Míreann (stone of divisions), otherwise known as the Cat Stone, is the mystical navel of Ireland, similar to the Puma and Cusco in Peru. This central meeting place of the provinces and burial place of the Goddess Ériu, carries great teachings of sovereignty and protection.
(Overnight in Meath at the Ardboyne Hotel or similar)
For the next three days we enter into Brú Na Bóinne (Womb of the Bright Cow) or the Sacred Valley of Ireland, a large complex of sacred sites (temples) built along the river Bóinn, named after the Goddess Boínn, from the heavenly river of the Milky Way. Today we step into the power of the Hill of Tara, an expansive emerald green landscape with forested gulleys, and wide-open spaces. Here we will work with the initiatory waters of the Well of the White Cow, which offer the gift of the “sight”. Following this ceremony, you will have an opportunity to experience and receive energy transmissions of the sacred masculine at the Lia Fal (Stone of Destiny), the sacred feminine at the Sheela Na Gig, and the mystical and luminescent An Sí at the Faerie tree. We will luncheon here, and there will be time for individual reflection and exploration.
(Overnight in Meath at the Ardboyne Hotel or similar)
This afternoon we head to the world heritage site and Ireland’s best-known passage tomb and megalithic mound – Newgrange (Sí An Bhrú). Older than the great pyramids and Stonehenge, Newgrange is aligned with the returning sun at Winter Solstice holding great mythological-astronomical significance with connections to the Cygnus constellation of the Swan. In fact, it is still the wintering grounds for swans migrating from Iceland each year. We have a group tour scheduled here and time for you to explore at the Visitors Centre.
(Overnight in Meath at the Ardboyne Hotel or similar)
We rise early today and head to Loughcrew, and Sliabh na Cailli, the mountain of the veiled Crone or Grandmother Earth. Another of Ireland’s ancient wonders, and aligned with the Spring and Autumn Equinoxes, this ancient site includes a number of ancestral cairns, and the Hag’s Chair of An Cailleach. You will be gifted with time to enter the cairn and journey with An Cailleach to receive her wisdom. Here we hold our final ceremony and gratitude Despacho to honour the Ancestors and our time together. Weather permitting, this day will offer plenty of time for you to work with the sacred landscape and your medicine in the group and individually.
The end of our day finds us at the quaint coffee shop nestled in a garden grove, where Irish teas and sumptuous cakes and goodies await (at own expense).
(Overnight in Meath at the Ardboyne Hotel or similar)
After breakfast we gather for our closing circle and then you will be driven back to Dublin arriving in the afternoon.
