Lasers reveal invisible Stonehenge carvings
In October, 2003, laser scanning revealed ancient carvings on the pillars of Stonehenge that are invisible to the naked eye.
The experiment scanned just part of three of the 83 stones that make up the famous prehistoric monument in Wiltshire, UK. The archaeologists, from the Wessex Archaeology and Archaeoptics companies, hope a full survey could provide compelling evidence that Stonehenge was a memorial for the dead, at least at the time the carvings were made.

| Ancient India Sacred Sites - Varanasi Lord Shiva is linked to the most ancient legends relating to Varanasi. In times beyond time, this was a vast jungle where the Lord Shiva manifested Himself as Lord VishvaNath - Lord of the whole world. At the confluence of the rivers Varan and Asi, a small town was created, centring its self around the ancient Linga of Lord VishvaNath. In times to come, this became a major temple town and a centre of great learning. Most monastic orders have at least a token temple or a monastery here. Students here can learn from ancient scriptures and compare the various philosophies of all the great masters of our past.

| Buried megaliths discovered at stone circle site
Archaeologists have discovered an arc of buried megaliths that once formed part of the great stone circle at Avebury in Wiltshire.
The National Trust says the existence of these enormous stones, originally constructed more than 4,500 years ago, has remained a puzzle for the last 300 years.

| Complete tomb unearthed at Inca citadel The first complete burial site to be discovered at the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu since its discovery has been revealed. Peruvian archaeologists have found bronze pins, a stone pan and a clay pot buried along with the remains.
"Studies will confirm the sex and determine the age of the person who was buried, but the objects that were found around the body point to it having been a young woman," Fernando Astete, Machu Picchu's administrator told Reuters.

Reflections on Sedona, Oct 29-Nov 2, 2003
At the end of October this year, I had the opportunity to travel to Sedona on one of our Sacred Journeys. Having a direct flight available from Vancouver to Phoenix on America West Airlines was a blessing, as I do not relish hanging around U.S. airports waiting for connecting flights! Our driver, Howie, met us at the baggage terminal and we were ushered to our private 11 passenger van for the drive to Sedona. Howie is a geologist and provided all kinds of interesting information about the area and it's geological significance.

Reflections on the Crystal Skull Activation, Sep, 2003
Between September 15-24, 2003 our small group of intrepid Crystal Skull Carriers marched through the hot and humid jungles of Mexico with a mission to activate some of the most ancient Maya temple sites. Leading the charge was our Lancandon Mayan priest, Cayum, and Star Johnsen-Moser, the caretaker of Shama-Ku, a lifesized crystal skull.
After our initial meeting in Cancun with groups who were assigned various sacred sites in Mayaland to activate, our group of ten skull carriers from the US came together with Star, Dawn Abel, and a group of German crystal skull warriors, for the long journey to Palenque, which would serve as the central base from which we would travel to the Mayan sites we were assigned to activate as a group.
