Imagine Yourself......
In Hawaii creating your own photographic map of symbols. Symbols and images are
the powerful language of the unconscious. They are key to humanity for we are a
species always searching for meaning. The Big island of Hawaii boasts 11 of the
13 ecosystems in the entire world offering participants an incredible palate of
nature from which to reflect their own inner landscape and witness the
interconnectedness of all things. We will endevour to become intimate with
nature and thus benefit from her gentle unfolding of our unconscious mind.
Through the camera you will capture tangible reflections of your self. Using the
outer world to reflect the inner mind, you will create your own photographic
symbology that will offer meaning to your past, your present and offer guidance
for you on your personal journey back to the Self, to re-unification.
You may come to this journey as a photographer searching for a truly creative
experience with yourself and your art, or as a spiritual warrior seeking for new
ways to connect with your inner being, or both. You will leave with inspiration
for creating harmony in your life and in the world.
Tour Review
Arriving on the East side of the island, we
begin our awakening in the lush, topical forests of the rising sun. The first
two days will be spent here focusing on our perceptions of ourselves and our
environment. We will look at our existing symbology to bring understanding to
how we can merge our linear words with the intuitive image. Using your camera to
reflect back to you components of your inner self, you begin to consciously
create a new photographic symbols to propell you on your path.
On the third day we move through the island and into the volcano where we can
experience how change is the basis of all life. We will then move our
accommodation to the West side of the island, the golden coast to explore the
invisible realms that lie below the surface. This will be a day of water PLAY
where we may receive a consultation from the dolphins as they are willing. Later
in the day we will ground ourselves in the earth element and visit the Peace
Gardens and Place of Refuge where you can contemplate and make images of your
own safe place.
On the fifth day we will visit more breathtakingly diverse landscape and make
images that symbolize how you choose to manifest your divinity. On our last day
together, you will use the photographs you have made to map out and reflect upon
the path you have chosen for yourself and what you need to do to turn your life
into the gorgeous curiosity it was meant to be. |
